The marketing name A 210 is usually used to refer to Aquilas light side by side two seat aircraft, though its official engineering and certification name is Aquila AT01. Design work started in 1997 and the first flight was made in March 2000.

And 210 is built entirely from carbon and glass fiber reinforced plastics, carbon fiber and fiberglass. CRFP is used for the most loaded members, longerons, frames and stringers, fiberglass for shell and control surfaces, the latter with fiberglass / polyurethane sandwich construction. The low wing has a straight conic stationary with increase in sweep outboard and the winglets on the tips on the examples of production. The section of laminar flow and 4.5° dihedral. Ailerons balanced internal and one slotted Fowler flaps have two positions.

And the 210 is powered by engine Rotax 912 flat-four engine driving two blades. The cabin has panoramic films at the bow and at the stern, with a thin fuselage behind. The canopy hinges forward. The stabilizer is located above the fuselage and fin are noticeable. A small ventral fin is the rear bumper. A 210 has a fixed tricycle landing gear. It mainwheels fitted with hydraulic brakes and is mounted on spring steel legs from the fuselage. The military has rubber suspension and handling, speed fairings are installed on all wheels.
