2019 IAAF World Rankings

The 2019 IAAF World Rankings document the best performing athletes in the sport of athletics, per the International Association of Athletics Federations individual athlete ranking system. It was the first year that the IAAF used the system. Individual athletes are assigned a points score best on an average of their best recent competition performances. The performance scoring is primarily based on the time or mark of the athlete, plus additional points for their placing within the competition, and some minor modifications based on the conditions. Specific procedures for seeding and pooling are established by the FIVB in each competitions formula.

The BSWW World Ranking is a ranking system for mens national teams in beach soccer, calculated by the sports developmental body, Beach Soccer Worldwide. BWF World Junior Ranking

The BWF World Junior Ranking is the official ranking of the Badminton World Federation, introduced since January 2011. Players must be under 19 years of age to be eligible in the World Junior Rankings. Players will be removed from the World Junior Ranking once they have reached 19 years of age on 1 January. In doubles, players will be ranked as individuals and not as pairs.

BWF World Ranking

The BWF World Ranking is the official ranking of the Badminton World Federation for badminton players who participate in tournaments sanctioned by Badminton World Federation. It is used to determine the qualification for the World Championships and Summer Olympic Games, as well as BWF World Tour tournaments. Seedings of draws at all BWF-sanctioned tournaments are conducted using the BWF World Ranking. The PDC Order of Merit is a world ranking system used by one of the darts organisations, the Professional Darts Corporation. Following the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship it superseded a world ranking system based on points being awarded for performances in ranking tournaments.

FIBA Men's World Ranking

The FIBA Mens World Ranking are FIBAs rankings of national basketball teams. FIBA ranks both mens and womens national teams for both senior and junior competitions. It also publishes combined rankings for all mixed-sex competitions. Not included are the rankings for three-on-three competitions, which are tabulated for individual players.

FIBA Women's World Ranking

The FIBA Womens World Ranking is the FIBAs rankings of national womens basketball teams. FIBA ranks womens national teams in both senior and junior competitions. It also publishes combined rankings for all competitions involving both sexes.

FIDE world rankings

The Federation Internationale des Echecs governs international chess competition. Each month, FIDE publishes the lists "Top 100 Players", "Top 100 Women", "Top 100 Juniors" and "Top 100 Girls", as well as rankings of countries according to the average rating of their top 10 players and top 10 female players. The Elo rating system is used.

FIFA Women's World Rankings

The FIFA Womens World Rankings for football were introduced in 2003, with the first rankings published on 16 July of that year, as a follow-on to the existing Mens FIFA World Rankings. They attempt to compare the strength of internationally active womens national teams at any given time.

FIG World Rankings

The FIG World Rankings is a system determining a list of the Worlds best gymnasts competing on the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup. A separate World ranking system is also used for Rhythmic Gymnastics. Throughout the year, there are Challenge and Challenger World Cups for CII all-around and CIII events formats. A win on each event is a maximum of 50 points for a World Cup competition and 30 points for a World Challenge Cup competition.

The Official World Golf Ranking is a system for rating the performance level of male professional golfers. It was started in 1986. The rankings are based on a players position in individual tournaments i.e. not pairs or team events over a "rolling" two-year period. New rankings are produced each week. INF World Rankings

The INF World Rankings are published by the International Netball Federation to make it possible to compare the relative strengths of internationally active national netball teams. Ultimate Fighting Championship rankings
